Get tweady for Twestival

The day will come when we tire of prefixing words with ‘tw’ when writing Twitter-related stuff. But not yet, my friends, not yet.

This year, Twestival, the charity fundraiser powered by Twitter and tweeters, goes Local, with events taking place all over the world, including a number of UK cities.

Tomorrow (twomorrow) I’ll be attending London Twestival, held in aid of London ChildLine. In the brief moments I can keep from tapping out 140-character messages, I’ll be giving my full attention to The Hours, fresh from backing up U2 on tour, and OneTaste.

It’s all about “celebrating this force for good in social media,” say the organisers. Looks like there are tickets still going right now; if you’re in town (twown) and twup for it, I’ll see you there.
